The last episode of Kaiju No 8 showed us a glimpse of the actual strength that Kafka obtained as a Kaiju. He has been named Kaiju No 8 by the Defense Corp and is the only Kaiju that has managed to be at loose. Kafka has managed to stay away from the Defense Corp for three months and is now at their den, giving the examinations.
Kafka was trying to escape from the hospital without causing any more damage. Simultaneously, Mina was out with her team haunting for the new Kaiju. Kafka was about to enter a hideout when he received a signal hinting at the arrival of another Kaiju. This must be one of the newly obtained powers of Kafka.
Kafka decided not to turn a blind eye to the Kaiju and protect the civilians. He reached the location of the new kaiju, faster than the Defense Corp team. He eliminated the Kaiju easily, simultaneously saving a mother and her child. The gratitude from the child reminded Kafka of his dream and made his resolve more rigid.
We saw Kafka defeating a massive Kaiju by a single hit. The similar kaiju was defeated by Mina by a single massive strike. Kafka’s punch is as strong as Mina’s blast guns and is probably stronger if he managed to fully utilize his strength.
